You love our football and the carnival amongst other things… I have a feeling that if you try this product you’ll fall in love with it too.
All you’ll need to prepare these delicious mini cheesebread bites is:
Mini Cheesebread Bites
250g of Isabel’s cheesebread mix
2.5 Tbsp vegetable oil
100g of grated cheddar cheese
1 larger egg lightly whisked
Pre-heat the oven to 200C (180C fan oven) Gas Mark 6.
Place the ingredients in large bowl. Mix well by hand or pulse in a food processor until
all the liquid is absorbed by the flour and the dough becomes smooth and pliable.
Take small pieces of the dough and roll into small balls of approximately 3cm diameter each piece. Place on a non-stick baking tray 2cm apart.
Bake for 20-25 minutes. The mini cheesebreads will be ready when they start to turn slightly golden. (Don’t forget to use oven gloves!)
1. Mould the unbaked dough into balls and place on a non-stick baking tray 2cm apart. 2. Cover with cling film and put them in the freezer. After 3 hours remove from the freezer. 3. Place frozen dough balls into freezer bags and use within 2 months. bake direct from frozen on a pre-heated oven.
